"You really need to rent a car to best enjoy the 'Top of the South'. We reserved a car with Pegasus Rental Cars in Nelson at a very attractive, budget rate. The Nelson Pegasus agent was at the baggage area at the airport to greet us and assist getting the luggage into the vehicle. We had the contract signed in minutes and were off for our vacation in an older, but extremely well maintained Nissan Sunny. The vehicle proved to be excellent in every regard, including fine gas mileage. When we returned the car two weeks later, we completed the return procedures in minutes.
